Support Honeydew

Help us grow the ecovillage network.

Honeydew operates as a non-profit Cultural Association. Every donation is pooled directly into the shared land, tools, and infrastructure that make communal life possible - not overhead, not marketing.

Where your donation goes

The land, the table, and the school.

Honeydew is run by the people who live in it. Donations are not a separate revenue line sitting behind a corporate structure - they go into the same shared accounts that pay for the land, the tools, and the table, alongside income from the School and from guests who come to stay.

Here is where your contribution lands, and why each place matters to the people living and working at Maiolo.

The land, the buildings, the tools.

This fund covers the farmhouse repairs, the solar and water systems, and the shared equipment - sewing machines, kitchen tools, garden tools - the community works with every day. It is the difference between a building slowly restored and one that falls further into disrepair.

The table, set daily.

Honeydew feeds everyone who lives and works at Maiolo, plus every guest, School participant, and visiting volunteer - largely from what the land itself produces. This fund bridges the leaner months and keeps the daily communal meal, the heart of life here, open to all.

A seat in the School, regardless of means.

The three-month School of Community Life is Honeydew’s main pathway in - but the full fee is out of reach for many of the people who would benefit most. This fund part-covers scholarship places for applicants chosen on fit and intent, not ability to pay.

The specifics

What your monthly gift funds.

Honeydew is sustained by the people who believe in what it is building. The community generates income through guest stays and wellness retreats - but donations are what make the longer-term investments possible.

A word from our founder

You cannot heal alone. You cannot even know yourself alone. Every contribution, however small, is someone outside Maiolo choosing to be part of that project with us.

Benjamin Ramm · Founder

The non-profit commitment

Honeydew is a registered non-profit Cultural Association. Ongoing investment in the renovation of the Maiolo property is made personally by our founder, Benjamin Ramm. All community earnings from guest stays and retreats go back into the project.

Your donation does not fund salaries or administration. It funds the community itself.

However small, your gift makes you part of what happens next at Maiolo - the land, the table, and the people who gather at it.
